This photo challenge sent us into our Kitchens!
Remember we are trying to honor the *stay at home * rules.
And we were to work on Lighting and Photo lock
My kitchen was boring - I took photos of our food, of our utensils, of the counters and nothing spoke to me. Then when My husband was doing dishes ( yay) I saw my candles on the counter - so I lit them and then turned the lights off.
note to self - wait until husband is DONE with dishes before giving him an excuse to quit!
I took quite a few from different angles and close up - but for some reason - this is the one that I like the best - Maybe because of all the black space around it?
Anyways - that was my submission for this challenge!

Ranch Life - Dreamscape
It is always fun to learn new techniques - and this one is called Dreamscape. Or at least that is how I will remember the technique.

Family Photos
This family is such a wonderful group of people. The girls are twins, and both getting ready to head off at the same time. ( sniff sniff)
So a Family session is totally in order!!

An Outdoorsy Family
This family is just one of my favorites. They are all so athletic, and outdoorsy people. They are just fun to be around. We had such a great time on this photo shoot. I got to see areas of our county I have not been to before!
Aren't they a beautiful family? I loved the settings so much. But I REALLY loved that Black and White in the bottom . Such a classic pose!!

Another Beautiful Family
I have to tell you how much fun this shoot was!
The little baby was just adorable. She kind of made me want another one ;-)
It was snowy and chilly outside, so we opted to do the session in the house!

Family Portraits
I love that people still send Christmas Cards!!! I Love getting them in the mail. I make a card chain and drape it across my back windows - so I can see all the beautiful families.
I was so Tickled when this family contacted me to do their family portraits. They are truly an amazing family. Sadly they lost their home in our September Floods. Their attitudes are just amazing. Even though they are having to rebuild, replace and just survive - they never complain!
Here is a little Sneak Peak into their session:
Interested in booking a Family Session? Message me and we can arrange that!

Kids on the Move
It is really fun being invited to a family event, and getting to capture some shots of the family in motion.
The sun, the smiles, and getting to do something fun makes for a happy kiddo!
Don't you just love that smile? The whole family loves horses, but this time - he was in charge!
Grandma got in the shot a little too....sometimes work takes more precedence over the photos. ;-)
