We have had some CRAZY weather here - Memorial Day weekend rained almost the whole weekend - and Monday found us running for cover - check out these skies!

Growing up my Mom had THE largest strawberry patch in the neighborhood .

Every summer we had so many strawberries ! She put them in everything . And froze them and canned them and made jam and pies. Oh! And she made fruit leathers ( like roll ups - only healthier)

She also used her strawberry patch to get rid of us kids . She'd hand us a shoebox and tell us to go pick strawberries - but not to come back until it was full.

So Mothers day- we planted strawberries .... I hope she sends some strawberry love down from heaven and makes these grow like hers did

The day we took this photo - it was still under the Stay at Home orders

AND

it was day 3 of snow storms - and we had about a foot or more of snow out in the pastures

My son and I were entertaining ourselves and trying to be creative

We forgot that we should have picked up the house first, and we also forgot all the stuff that he had moved home from college, that hadn't found a spot yet.....  oh well

Perfection is just not my thing

But we had fun creating this photo.

Red

I am in a Photo Challenge group and the Challenge was "Red"  . I had a blast walking around the place and trying to find something red, and then make an interesting photograph of it.

This is one of my favorites!

My friend had a wine rack, and each bottle of red wine had one of these red stoppers.  I liked it!

December 3rd - Silver

I love to follow the Photo A Day prompts... and today's was silver. My Tree is a wonderful subject - but then I took the photo and played with it.  I am not sure what I think - but I had a lot of fun seeing how I could manipulate an ornament. Bet you can't guess the original color?
