Red

I am in a Photo Challenge group and the Challenge was "Red"  . I had a blast walking around the place and trying to find something red, and then make an interesting photograph of it.

This is one of my favorites!

My friend had a wine rack, and each bottle of red wine had one of these red stoppers.  I liked it!

The Denver Zoo

The Denver Zoo is such a great place for photographers. The animals are everywhere ( yay) and they don't scowl at you like your children do!!

Denver Zoo Animals

Whenever we are in Denver, even if we only have an hour to spare, we love to head to the zoo.

This time - I tried to capture animals through the glass.

Aren't they cute?  Those eyes? They really seem to be checking the Visitors out!!

Spring is in the Air

Even though we have had a few snow storms, a lot of rain showers and cloudy days - I am sure I see glimpses of Spring every now and then.  I was photographing this bud - and check out what Photo Bombed it!

Our challenge was to find a flower that is just starting to bud, I got lucky and found the trifecta!

Denver Zoo Birds

Recently we took a trip to the Zoo.  My Challenge : To shoot the birds through the cages.

I loved this challenge

It made me look at birds in a whole new light

And if you know me - Eagles are one of my favorites!

Golden Hour

Every once in a while the color of a bloom just pops right out at you - and I LOVE orange!!

Black and White

I have always loved Black and White photos.  Most recently I was out in the country and the sky was just so amazing - I couldn't help but try a few shots of some interesting Farm Equipment - along with the sky:
