November Gratitude's

Every year I like to do a Gratitude Project - sometimes I share, sometimes its just for me. I use photos that I have taken over the year, and sometimes add quotes that I have found, or made up myself .

The old Cabin

 In my travels this last week I saw this really cool old cabin :

can you imagine living there?  There was no running water or power to it - but the area was gorgeous!

We have had some CRAZY weather here - Memorial Day weekend rained almost the whole weekend - and Monday found us running for cover - check out these skies!

Growing up my Mom had THE largest strawberry patch in the neighborhood .

Every summer we had so many strawberries ! She put them in everything . And froze them and canned them and made jam and pies. Oh! And she made fruit leathers ( like roll ups - only healthier)

She also used her strawberry patch to get rid of us kids . She'd hand us a shoebox and tell us to go pick strawberries - but not to come back until it was full.

So Mothers day- we planted strawberries .... I hope she sends some strawberry love down from heaven and makes these grow like hers did
